need 89 4.0 core in MA or close by

I need a junk core out of an 89 or similar to send back to jasper. I just installed a jasper motor in the cherokee and want to keep the old core, it has a lot of work in it, and probably only a minor problem. Even though jasper says it's a $300 core charge, the dealership wants $900 for me to keep the core....

It's a loosing battle... Initially they said they had one for me to send and I could keep it... then they didn't, and then it jumped up to 900. This, after overcharging me for the job and taking an additional 3 weeks over the time estimate...

I'd prefer something free or super cheap, as it is just getting sent back.

can trade other parts, such as a rear bumper... not sure what else I have... old rotors? busted up hubs?

if anyone can help me out, you will be reaaaally helping me out.

Your not in NY? I have an 89 that ran good when pulled it is over in NJ. Say $150 or part/all trade for the Long block?

I am in NY, but the jeep and the shop the block needs to go to are both in MA, and I have no good way to transport the block up north... Thanks for the offer though!
