Figured I'd introduce myself here, I am a member over at JeepForum.com but have found that NAXJA has alot to offer.

Just in case any of you guys see me around.

98 White XJ Classic
3" and 31s
Surco/lights/spare
(I also have white shocks.. just in case) :D

I'm 18/just starting college/and this is my DD so the mods are a little conservative.

I live right down the street from SteelBlueSteeve also.

Yeah I do pretty often. If its got 4 squares on the roofrack then its me.

You see a Champagne pre 97 with 33s and soft8s around? Saw it at movies ten the other day with a US flag behind it, looked pretty nice

i live down in wilmington not that far away. ive only had my 2000xj limited for a month or so. i have acquired a set of rubicon moabs and a warn winch bumper. now that you have joined this site say good bye to all you extra money :D
your ahead of me though i have no lift yet and you already have the roof rack lift and tires im going to have to catch up to you guys :D
anyways keep an eye out on this sight for future events..
Can we start a joliet chapter? seems like there are enough just in the joliet area..
we just have to track them down :p

by the way im a jeepforum member to thats how i found naxja too...

My wife can't figure out why I balk at spending $100 on baby related items but don't have any second thoughts about dropping $500 on Jeep parts :)

i think i seen ya around the hospital a couple of weeks ago i was driving a red XJ with no front doors and i waved at a white jeep that matched your description:wierd:

I understand the whole not having any extra cash.. I'm still working on getting a set of actual 3" coils to sit me at 3.5" in the front without my poly spacer.. and then some JKS discos.. and an adj. trac-bar... and a front hitch+hook.. and possibly LCAs.. and a hi-lift for the surco.. and some mild wheel spacers..and...and..:roll::wierd:

My bad if it was me.. I'll pay better attention next time!

Theres another guy thats local out here too, lives in Shorewood, he goes by XposedGuts on Jeep Forum but its a White 98 Sport with a RC 4.5" and 32s.

Also a buddy of mine has a Green 98 2dr SE with the same 4.5" lift on bald 28" BFG A/Ts :laugh3:

Welcome aboard, I'm new to the Midwest Chapter too, came over from Sacramento, CA where I lived for almost 5 years and was in the Sierra Chapter.

Well I avoid as many scratches as I can. Its my DD and the paint is nearly perfect anyway.. He got stuck in a puddle a few weeks ago.. and he tried to get out for about 15 minutes before he let me tug him..took all of 10 seconds to get him out.

But yeah, did you guys go out by Houbolt?

Sam's got sliders, it's just that the rest of us call them rocker panels :)
