National Springs

Looking in to springs for the jeep, one company i have not heard much talk about is National Spring.

Any one know anything about these springs?

They seem to be of the same quality and price range as Deavers.

I have Nationals and have abused them for about 7 years with zero problems. Great ride, flex and load capacity with no drawbacks. I've never owned Deavers, and probably won't because I have no need to get rid of these, but they are head and shoulders above any other leaf springs I've owned.
Price is higher, but worth every penny - period.

deaver vs national, price at time of purchase would be the only deciding factor for me.

You don't hear much about them because National stopped selling off the shelf packs, where as Deaver has created a market of their own by doing so... and it works. Deaver gives them a fancy letter-number combination and sells it to you as a race pack. National will build you anything you want, for roughly the same price, but they want info on the vehicle. Weight, application, etc.

I ran national spring religously in my blown mud truck and my trailer puller and any time I needed new or replacement springs. Get the weight of your jeep before u call.

there's a company called Eaton Detroit Spring that I like. Made in USA too. They make all kinds of custom stuff. Like the PO said, get the weight of your jeep before you call, ideally weight on front axle and weight on rear axle.

I got good service when I visited their shop. Just a set of U-bolts, (no springs), but the service was very good.
