$25 upgrade to 3/16".
There is a gap between the lid and top of the bumper, but I dont really care. Overall seems a very good value.

Still need to install the front bumper.

Nice looking bumper, I especially like the uni-body tie-ins and integrated receiver. But, I wish Nate and several others would finish off the corners and tops better to blend with the body better. I think C4x4 has done a great job of this but they don't offer good frame tie-ins, just a single bolt one that is whimpy. I have the c4x4 and did a crappy weld job on some brackets I made to tie in. You have a great functional bumper now and if you wanted, you could easily fit diamond plate over the top and back to cover the gap you mentioned.

Nice, The Front is easier to install than the rear. I installed the rear tire carrier bumper & it was heavy!
Also the OEM front bumper seemed easier to remove than the rear.

Looks good, you could always hit it with some black spray paint to hide the gap and make it blend in.

I used the plastic piece that was used on the OEM bumper to close the gap, Just had to trim it down a little to make it fit properly.

Look at all that absence of rust, I'm jealous. Looks good :thumbup:, I have that bumper on my list with the shackle mounts. Which front bumper did you get? I have had his recessed winch bumper on my list for a few months. Now he has the slimeline one I just noticed a week ago, now that is on my list instead of the other one. I can't wait, I bought a winch that has been sitting in my attic since August waiting for a bumper:bawl:.

I was thinking the same thing.:banghead:

IMHO, $25 to upgrade to 3/16" is very worthwhile.
I got receivers front and rear with 1 receiver shackle bracket. I dont see the need for 2 shackle tabs per bumper.
Putting function before form, if you just need an affordable, rugged bumper and good recover points, I really dont see how you can beat this bumper for the price (I was under $500 for F & R shipped). :cheers:

I don't understand why he doesn't just make them an inch taller to fill that gap. While I'm sure it's a decent bumper, the fit and fair at the top of it is abysmal.

I don't like the fit, seems lazy...I like the frame tie-ins just like everybody else but the look of the bumper sucks. Atleast make an effort to make it a little closer...

What is wrong with you guys?

That bumper looks great, and the price was sweet too. Why should anyone pay twice as much for something you guys think looks nice? This bumper will hold up fine and was well worth the price he paid.

I agree that's why I bought from Nate for the price and functionability{is that a word?}
Not so much if it fits the body line perfect~
