4.10's work well with the 33's with the ax15? i've been trying to decide what to get for mine eventually. how is it on the highway?

I was running 3.73s with 31s and I thought something a LITTLE deeper would have been nice. I do run a good bit of 70 mph highway miles.

I went to 33s with 4.56s and I wish they were a LITTLE less deep. I think 4.30s would have been perfect. I don't see people mention 4.30s (or so) much here, but back in my muscle car days they were pretty common. The 4.56s aren't too bad, but it turns a bit more highway rpms than I would like.

this is totally the wrong thread for this ... :hijack: but thanks for the info.

swb= short wheelbase

basically they were being assholes to a few of our members who were having a hard time on one obstacle, along with some other things.

understood, but we just passed the other group, they were simply sitting on the side of the trail drinking and eating not being in the way and not wheeling at the time, they were headed in the other direction and they just watched us go by

Yup these other guys were apparently morons. I wasn't there to personally hear anything said but I heard enough about it.

Lots of crap talked for no real reason other than being drunk ****heads

sorry you had to pick up their mess, but thanks for doing it. they're trying to close the place and keeping it clean is definitely going to help keep it open.

Spotted a White early 90s? XJ 3-4" Lift and 31-32" tires in New Canaan, CT coming around Old Norwalk Road near Kiwanis Park

Saw this parked at GolfSmith today in Norwalk, CT. Took a pic of the good side as the passenger rear quarter panel had a good knock in it!-)

2 door white lifted trimmed fenders, roof rack tire on top i think. down 324 i believe in the buck/holtwood pa neck of the woods. was in the wifes jeep at the time so we both gave a wave.

the tires say alot about the driver... however the 12oz. of weight thats hammered on there says even more about the his choice of tire shops..... :twak:

thats funny.. that is a hell of alot of weights for only 31's... my 33" boggers dont even have half that and they ride as good as boggers can on the street lol
