Of course keep in mind, with this style steering, you're going to experience the infamous "Tie Rod Roll" that JCR customers complain about, because you're essentially building the same style steering with heims instead of TRE's.
Your other option is to go the route I'll be going and get the BTF D30 high steer bracket. Puts both the tie rod and drag link in double sheer.
bad news, my iron rock arms dont fit on my new truss. so im sellin the iron rock kit, long arms, crossmember and hardware, 500bucks if anyone is interested. posted in the for sale section too.
since its fixed and the new truss has the uca mount raised on the pumpkin it doesnt reach. so im sellin it to get an adj. kit. probably clayton. know anyone witha grand cherokee?
i thought about it. but im already 700 bucks deep into that axle. and no ones gunna care if its new and just regeared. cuz some have different gears and still need to do my gussetts on it too.. haha if i cant sell the iro kit. ill have to modify the arm which will be another 200 bucks to hack it redo the arm and make a new gusset.
yeah im still debating on what to do if they dont sell by next week ill prob jus hack em myself n make it work haha. i dont have the fab skills but i have an idea of what needs to be done. i got someone who can do it for me. just want that to be last resort though.
Chit dude, if this had happened a month ago I would have gotten them no questions, but I all ready got my extra moneys going else where this month, lol.
sold my arms. ill be ordering my clayton front long arms hopefully thurday or friday!!! then just need a couple gussetts on the axle and im good to go!
