My New Car!!!

I finally found my dream car. A 1984 Toyota Celica-Supra P-Type. Its a Supra!!! Took me five years of my driving career to find one, but I finally did. Might not seem long to some of the old farts on here, but its been long for me since Ive been teased with many offers of other MKII Supra's.

Time for the goodies:

Front driver side fender has a rust spot. Tyres are eatten up from the weather in Las Vegas, NV and from sitting.

Rear bumper is scratched and the hatch pillar on the drivers side has a dent from what looks like a baseball bat.

Nothing wrong here you can just see the window tint going to hell.

For a straight over trade for my blown motor Toyota Cressida for a running Supra I am very happy with this find. All I have to do is drive to Vegas with my Cressida and pick up my Supra. Im going to be using half of my tax return to fetch my prize.

Just thought Id show off my new project. As for what Im going to do. Basically a Toyota Stroker AKA in Japan 6M-GE. Rebuild a 7M-GTE block and rebuild a 5M-GE head with larger valves and itll make 210BHP as to the 5MGE that makes 165BHP and gain me .2L lol yea. Japanesse motors make little more displacement than American motors. So Ill have a 3.0L JDMish 6M-GE motor with a sexy body surrounding it. Might toss a CT-26 turbo on it if I feel like blowing an extra $600 since the turbo and manifold are cheap, but the accessories are expensive since they are all custom parts to for the computer to change the fuel curve. Ugh, but I own my dream car now!!!

Hey this website isn't called rice a roni and some XJs. Between you and Philip_G it is like raining imports in here. But at least his is powered by Bowtie. But I guess if you are into rice powered cars then it is a cool car.:rof:

Nice!!! In high school my buddy got a brandnew 86 or 87, looked just like yours, only red. I loved cruisin around in that car. I wouldn't mind finding one myself to restore, I hope you plan on getting a sweet body kit for it.

Its only rice if it ugly and has a annoying spoiler on it with a ridiculous alignment job. Be glad to get a picture of some rice around this town. Couple Mustangs Id call rice here too.

The MKII was only made from '82-'86('84-'86 were the pretty ones)
MKIII from '86.5-92
MKIV from '92.5-98ish

I dont mention the first gen because its ugly.

I was never into amercian cars, just Dodge and Jeep. I like Lexus alot but its semi american.

No I have had the car since 98. It was stock when I got it. I sold the blower last year so I could drive the car again. I was just too quick to be fun. It spun tire at 85 mph in 4th gear. I am going to build a 408 for it. Make it a little more street friendly. I have done a ton of mods to it but I won't bore you with the list. Victor Jr heads and Victor 5.0 intake top to list.

Rice means it was built oversea by Japs. Yeah some people bling out Mustangs. But they still don't run on rice power. Would you call a 64 Impala with 22s rice? Or ghetto?

What about a Subaru Legacy, Honda Civic or Mitsubishi Eclipse? All are built in America.... :dunno:
