My APDD-XJ Build.

Those wheels look sick!! My main concern is a set of tires and wheels. The responsible side of me is saying just replace the stock rims, Mount and balance current newish tires that came with jeep. Other part of me is getting 31's, wheels, and a lift, since I plan on doing it anyways. Only difference is money spent. I'd be saving money in the long run on the other hand...

You still havent defined your build.
To save money long term, do it once.

How long is your commute?
How hard of trails do you want to run?
What is your comfort level?

Welcome to the madness?

Souske: explain define my build? I thought I did haha. But your right just save money long run. I'm comfortable with 31s to prevent the laundry list of mods+regearing if I go with 33s or up. Not gonna be working there soon but its a 35 min commute both ways. And as far as trails, anything but extreme rock climbing.
Thanks for the welcome! But I've had a yj, tj, and another xj that I planned on fixing up, but it was too far gone haha.

Pm'd back.

Update: installed new radio, found out passenger front door speaker doesn't work. Using the search bar I found it should be an easy fix. My main concern is a new set of wheels, which would include me buying a lift, as mentioned before, to save money in the long run.

To do list in order of most needed.

•Wheels+ tires with 3'' lift. Rough country? NO aal, no worries haha.

•Roof rack

•Front bumper, pref. Prerunner

•Rear bumper

•Winch

•Skid plate + misc armor

•Light setup. Led bars.

And somewhere in the midst of the , decent 12s and amp. Gotta have my music haha

Update:

Well how bout this update, I couldn't pass an amazing opportunity up. Too good to be true. I'll keep those reading in suspense until pictures tomorrow haha. Saved myself a lot of money, and frustration and time. And I made out like a bandit. I'll fill ya'll in tomorrow haha

Outlander, I was gonna hit you up tomorrow. Sorry but the deal I got today included tires and wheels. For that price however they should sell easy man. Sorry we couldn't do a deal, best of luck getting them gone

Haha found a crazy deal on a 99 xj, tons of upgrades with 102k original miles, power everything. Brand new header, k&n air filter, 3" RC N20 lift, JCR rear bumper, SYE, cooling system, led lights all around, Hella headlight housings, sitting on 5 NEW 31x10.5x15 Baja mtz's on black rock wheels. I'm sure there's more I'm gonna find haha

Chedisme: nah man.. 3 haha. I bought a 96 in Oct, but came to the conclusion it was too much work, with over 200k, so it just became my DD to work. Then I saw the white one and figured that's a great base. Planned on doing over 5k of upgrades, then found this one with everything I wanted and more, with power everything and 102k miles.. no brainer haha. I love xjs... don't see myself getting anything else anytime soon haha. I hope I fit in here , and get to know everybody!

Now I'm selling both my old xjs, to help out with getting more stuff for my newest rig. JCR front bumper, slider armor, and quarter panel armor, roof rack, led light bar for the front, winch for the front. Heck maybe I'll get some 2'' LED pods for the hood? I saved so much money in the long run. I'll post pictures tomorrow!
