MWC land use donation.

The MWC BOD has presented the BOD with a request to match funding. The MWC proposes to donate $500 to Redbird SRA which is located in Dugger, IN. Redbird is state owned but it is operated entirely by a volunteer staff,(Redbird Management Group). Once the BOD approves the matching funds request, a total of $1000 will be donated to the RMG.

The tentative plan is to make this donation on Aug. 9th. We are going to wheel that day and call the unofficial event Carnagefest. It would be great to see alot of MWC members there for the newspaper pic.

Also make a Club donation to WOHVA (Wisconsin Off-Highway Vehicle Association) and I'm good. I believe a paultry $200 donation gets you supporting Club status. Contact Deadhead on the WOHVA forum for more info. Their website is www.wohva.com

You know Ron, if you were a member........your opinion might weigh in a little more.
Honestly, I could care less if "you're good" with it. This only concerns members. You have chose not be be a member, and quite vocally I might add.

Originally I thought it was an informative post; then you asked for comments.
If you didn't want comment from non-members, then you should have posted it in the Members section if you didn't want anyone elses opinion.

WOHVA is a good cause. Look into it. I'm sure the Members who live in Wisconsin will appreciate the gesture.

I agree with Ron, and maybe, AT SOME LATER TIME, we can look into that. However, this is a park that is open to us, volinteer supported, and a good cause.

The plan is to present the check around 9:30-10:00. There will be local media coverage and there will be some pics taken. I'm told that Redbird is having a giant check made for us to present to them. It should make a good picture. Directly following the check presentation, we wheel.
