Here's something that I don't understand....

I KNOW that we have more then 34 members here in the midwest chapter yet that is how many that have voted.

Voting is one of the easiest things that you can do responsibly as a member yet it's one of the hardest things to get people to do.

I wish there was something that could be done to maybe put a spark under the bonnet of this membership. I understand not having the money or time to be able to attend the events but this doesn't take more than a minute to do and requires no extra $'s.

If you don't vote then you don't have a right to an opinion on how this club is run. Plain and simple.

for most elections we're lucky to get 40. sad yes, but for the most part myself and the other 39 or so members don't have real lives, is all we have.

Next time your city/state has an election, look at the numbers, I bet no more than 30% vote.

Well, while I don't really understand why, I have no problems with that, Kim.


I'm more cranking on the lethargic in the MWC. If you have a reason why you don't that's one thing. If laziness is the dominating factor then I am refering to them.

Besides, the pills have kicked in so I'm at peace with the world again.
