I know some of you guys have a lot expierence with Certs.

my rule of thumb is 1 inch from the edge of the tread. MTRs should be about the same.

They shouldn't try to patch the defect that is 1/4" away from the shoulder transition.

Thats what I figured, thansk all for the input. I think the tech just fixed it and didn't asked the manager to to get it replaced.
