Just thought I’d put up a short post mostly just as an introduction. Hopefully this won't bore anyone here, as I'm gonna need to make some new wheeling buddies...
My girlfriend(who also wheels an XJ) and I are both graduating college and have accepted jobs in the Colorado Springs area, so we’ll be moving soon. I’ve got roughly a month, and she’s going to finish up a masters thesis and head out the end of the summer. I’m looking forward to getting out there and wheeling, among other things.
I’ve got a ’96 that’s rather mild looking, but I’ve taken it through quite a bit for its size.
4” lift and 31” TrXus
Aussie Locker front/D44 trash lok rear.
Gas Tank/Transfercase/Rocker Skids.
I’m currently building longarms and reinforcing the uniframe, but it’s been a long project.
So in about a month I'll be trying to get used to the new area, like figuring out where all the places to buy steel are, and who has a welder I can borrow until I get my own.
