I did a bunch of searching tonight, didnt come up with what I was looking for so I figured I would post up, if this has been covered in the past, my apologies but it is beyond my "search-fu"
I just bought some FOX 2.0 resi shocks...and my next step is now the air bumps. Im looking at getting 2.0 diameter 2" stroke SAW airbumps soon, and I am trying to find the most logical least involved way of getting them mounted in front, inside the coil.
I am not terribly familiar with air bump cans/mounts in an XJ, could someone possibly post up their experience with this? I suppose I will cut off the stock bump/coil tower, and replace it with the air bump in a can/tube of sorts, but thats where my thought process ends.
Also I am looking to have them strike an RE poly bumpstop in the coil bucket, or perhaps a UHMW cylinder..good idea? i dont want metal contact, as I have heard that noise gets pretty annoying while trail riding/getting to the trail.
thanks guys.
