Motorhome shocks

I have a set of shocks from a class a motor home. They are Bilstein yellow monotube. These have only 3K miles on them because they were on a rig too big for them. Apparently many motorhomes are built with the shocks supplied by the chassis manufacturer which are too weak for the larger class A rigs. Anywho these would be quite good on a mid size or smaller rig. PM if interested, will trade or just make an offer. Part #'s available upon request.

John I'm not finding any Bilstein RV shocks with those part numbers. What application did you have them for?

They were on a class A chassis, a Chevy chassis I think. It was one that I replaced the shocks for a friend of my mom. It was about a 36' rig. I'll do some research and find out what the applications are and I can post up some measurements.

I did some research and found that these came off a Ford F53 Class A chassis, the V10 one. The part numbers on them are either some OEM part number or are a superseded number. If anyone wants measurements I will measure them. They have large diameter bushings that are too wide ti fit any shock mount that you can get for an XJ. I know because I wanted to use two of them for the rear until I can get my 5100s
rebuilt/re valved.

Yeah, I looked at that guide. I'm sure that these shocks are a part # that is only used by the OEM's or it is a superseded #. These are rather stiff and the front ones are kinda long. I will post up measurements after work.

The front ones are 29" extended and 18" collapsed, the rear are 25" extended and 17" collapsed. Like I said these things are stiff, I have to put most of my weight on them to collapse them.
