x2. The halogen actually looks brighter, but that could also be due to a wider spread on the HID.
 
The light output picture was done in the early evening time, not even dark out. It was a test fit shot wired to a jump box. Ask for or wait for some other pictures they're coming.
 
So, I've always found that driving behind 4300k bulbs to be the brightest. That's what OEM's use when putting together HID kits for production cars. It's not the whitest, but it seems to be brighter in real life when driving behind them. I imagine that wouldn't show off well in photos, but aside from cut-off there's not much a photo can tell about HID's, at least brightness anyway.

I'm not ready to pull the trigger on a set yet, rather I'm trying to gather information to see what's out there and what can be done for an XJ. Headlights are a bit far down on my list of fixes for my Jeep, but I like getting all my ducks in a row for when the project comes up.

Also, no chance of being adults and keeping it civil, eh? I'm kind of disappointed in NAXJA with this thread. People always accomplish tasks in different ways. Some might do it a little less complete or hacked up way than others. Why not just acknowledge their ingenuity and leave it at that while you watch for what you're specifically looking for? Forums are for spreading ideas, good or bad. If they're bad, I personally don't repsond. Though yes I was hoping to see a bit more solid high quality stuff in this thread, I don't go around bashing people for trying. Come on guys, grow up.
 
Yea that's a tough choice b/w the 4300 and 6000. Head on the 4300 are very bright and white but driving the color seems to have a slight yellow hint. They were pointing way too high and had to reaimed and try them again maybe this weekend.
