You're right, in 2005 you were cutting edge, leading technology. You were the 'top gun' but today there are some other options.

That would hurt my feelings if I had any. My lights held-up quite nicely for 7 years.
Your project doesn't make a lick of sense for one minute.

Those are some big work for someone with quad HID fogs in the bumper. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
My set-up's reliable, easy to swap parts, and there was virtually NO hacking involved. Whose the hypocrite now?

In all honesty, that made me LOL so hard!! :roflmao:

Time is the ultimate deciding factor. It will be interesting to see how my China-brand projectors hold up for the long haul.

While I cannot vouch for the reliability of my projectors [yet], mine wil be just as easy to swap parts on. If not, MOAR.

"virtually" <<there's the key word. With mine there will be ZERO hacking and NO cutting wires [assuming angel eyes are not desired]. 100% plug-and-play. Nuff said.

wimp. <<there's another "key word".
Sometimes hacking is necessary, you can't run away from it all the time.

:shhh:
I am the master of putting things where they don't belong. Just sayin.

Like a rapist?

How much did your's cost again? How mush would they cost today to replace? Are they still available?

That sure doesn't look like a stock front bumper. No hacking, just changed it out for a, How much was that front bumper?

$900 for the headlights, 4 HID fogs, new custom front bumper. Who is not thinking with their head and using their wallet? Whose the hypocrite now? YOU.

I wouldn't say I run away from hacking, but I would say that I try to avoid it when I can. [had to trim my fenders to clear bigger tires, had to trim front valence to clear front hitch, blah blah blah].

Yeah, that made very little sense. Stop being so angry and misguided all the time, and you might actually take something away from this forum.

FYI, hacking - when done correctly - isn't a cardinal sin.

So what would be so wrong drilling a small hole in the header panel?

There you are again back to that size thing. You seem to like that 'small' thing all the time. That size hole in a gas take is huge.

oh. my. gosh.

I can't believe I never checked that thread before (not very well anyways).
More so, I can't believe I was arguing with folks that think this is a good idea.
