The last picture was just a joke. As for those light pods... I'm not a big fan of them. I'm just going to save up for some JCR bunpers [front and rear] with integrated lights and hitches.

The thing is, when someone's spent so much time, work, MONEY, cutting, etc., their ego is severely invested into the project. So it won't matter how obvious it is that there might, just MIGHT be a neater, cheaper, different way of producing similar results, of course you're going to be met with obstinate denial and childish insults.

I'm not even going to pretend to know everything (or very much period) about optics. But I've seen both style projectors at work, and I can tell very little if any difference between the two. Let the projector snobs continue to collect their own farts in brandy snifters and enjoy the sweet sweet smell of denial.

There is always a cheaper and different way of producing something, but you will mot get the durability of an oem component without using them......period. These small Chinese projectors or any of thier components do not hold up.

What, if any benefit is there in having lights in the blue range of the spectrum? I admit to not quite grasping how this is better than white light.

Isn't it better to be closer to full spectrum? A cogent explanation would be appreciated.
