alright, so - i want to increase the HP of my '99 4.0L I6 XJ... and i want to try and keep the money spending a little low. i'm not looking to go all-out with the motor to squeeze as much HP out of it as i can - i just want to add a bit more. i've already put on a cool air intake, and i'm in the process of chipping it. any other suggestions?

Or you can fold your rear seats down and put a JATO in the back. Gives you a very nice increase in HP........

oh and maintanance plugs wires cap rotor a hotter coil fluid changes and injector cleaner it could surprise you if your maintanance is lacking and i mean all the fluids tranny t case and diffs as well

(less friction IS more power)

Cam's get you a lot of bang for the buck.

Not exactly. When you take into account the cost of the cam, lifters, upper gasket set, and labor (around $500 if you're not doing it yourself), the whole job can end up costing close to $1000 in parts and labor just to gain 10-15hp.
A cam swap is probably the last item you'd do after you've done every external performance mod possible plus ported head and roller rockers.
