Monster trucks!

I went to Del Taco earlier this week (mmmm 3 for $1 tacos!) and they had a poster that said there were going to be monster trucks at Arco Arena next weekend, the 23-24-25. Is anyone else planning on going? Looks like it's gonna be fun! I can't wait for it to be next Friday!

I don't want to rain on you parade, but Arco is about the worst place to see monster trucks... It's too small! Hope it's fun anyway!

$16 for most of them, I don't think there's a price difference if you get them in advance or at the door.

I'm going on Friday. Friday and Saturday it starts at 8, Sunday it's at 2 or so.

You can get free tickets to the Monster Jam (care of News10) tomorrow (Friday) at Reibies Auto Parts on Auburn Blvd in Citrus Heights (I believe between 6:30 & 7am) I go by there on my way to work at 6:30 so if anybody wants to call me and confirm, feel free to do so. I don't think I'd be able to pick up any extra tickets though.

arty: THAT WAS AWESOME!! Ended up being $10 for parking and $17.75 per ticket at the door. Yeah, it was small, but it was fun anyway. Between monster truck races there were "pro arena trucks" doing best-time runs around the arena. During the freestyle part, at the end, the High Roller monster truck almost rolled, but he ended up just driving on one side's wheels for a bit. I think I may have to go to the one at Pac Bell park next month.
