I've never run IM, what's the low down? Are dogs allowed? I'm going to have a full rig so can they walk along or are thier long stretches of driving trail or are all the obsticles close together? How about parking and trailers? Is it closer to the park of Summers? I'm just full of questions tonight:laugh3:

I can't wait!!

i'm pretty sure dogs are allowed. in the main rock crawling section, all the obstacles are pretty close together, but if you go elsewhere in the park, there are longer trails. there is plenty of parking for tow rigs and trailers at the entrance. it's closer to the park than summers. hope that helps :)

Thanks Intrepid! My sister and Brother-in-law are coming out from WV to ride along! The only thing I'm pissed about is the $90 it's going to cost me:( . What's the deal with the card holders?

If I break my junk on Friday, I will sell you my pass for under $90.

What a bargin! Especially since you have so much money wrapped up in that pass......

That was intended to be a smartass comment. I have no doubt that you'd hook him up.

I wouldn't run MI with my XJ. I'm too scared, but thanks for the offer.:moon:

I hope if everyone is still in one piece to go out Sunday at the park and try and finish off the rigs that are still running:)

I doubt it, and if I dont find an extra shaft Ill be dragen around a bunch of extra stuff.....

Hey guys, I know im not built enough for the Mission Impossible but I see some guys are just gonna be runnin regular trails at the park so I checked out the badlands web site. Its listed in the rules that for TRUCKS/JEEPS: Must have roll bar protection for ALL occupants. Soooo......does that mean you can wheel without a roll bar? -Shaun

that's only for open top jeeps (CJ's, YJ's, TJ's...). As long as you still have a roof you're good to go. Biggest thing is just make sure you can mount a flag some where that is over the roof line. I usually just zip tie a orange flag to my CB antenna and i've never been questioned. the store at the Badlands also has a good selection of flags and poles.

It is cheaper if you find a red flag and pole at a local hardware store.
If you decide you want to attach a Badlands pole, you'll ned to drill a 1/2 hole for it.

Well crap, I'm out. Gotta go to Jersey that weekend on biz. I'm wheelin' the weekend before at Harlan for the southern shine crawl. I'll even have a vendor booth setup, so stop on by if you're down there.

I'm getting pete's junk up to par for running the last 3 events in RROCK too. Come on out and see me break his junk into tiny pieces there if you want.
