Meet and Greet June 1st-3rd Attica IN

X2 on the reinforcement of the rear uni. A gas tank skid if it connects to the hitch nut strips reinforces the rear uni very very well.

I think that of all the armor protection on my junk that has saved major damage, I think the gas tank skid has been the most valuable. I have slammed or backed into rocks/stumps.branches so many times I'm sure it has saved me from doing the putty/duct tape repair many times over.

Thanks for the info on the hitch lesslimited, I was actully planning on getting a receiver set up like that one. Only diffreance is that I was going to get it from jeepinoutfitters.com becase they offer a 10,000 lbs receiver and a shackle for like $30.00. tim

armor is next on my list. gas, tc, rock rails, and bumpers. then its time to ditch the tow hooks and hitch. after that its a re-gear and new tires. Btw thanks for reminding me to bring duck tape. Im starting a todo list and a toget list for the trip and finding the best prices on stuff. tim

I think there is still room, I will start another thread here in a week or so to get all the MI guys straightened out.

ya know if there's a bunch of people running this at the same time you're gonna be lucky to get 200 yards all day.

Ten on a hard run is more than twice the number I like to run with.

Not being anti-social, just realistic.

when i ran it a few weekends ago.....we had 4 in our group (and finished with only 2 LOL). 10 would certainly be a lot, unless you are able to split up in 2 different groups and run different sections of the area

I agree smaller groups will be good I will give Troy a call and see what he can do to get two maybe 3 trail leaders.

I am going to wus on MI run.
maybe see if I can ride along with someone.
I'd like to see it first.
(Hey, I don't have a trailer, I gotta get home)

BOB

I had a long list of mods to do till I found my 4-link axle truss was folding over the pinion of my 14bolt:eek: So I pulled the axle and welded on a new truss, and just got it back in tonight. Back to the list:clap:

I've got a full disconnect 30 and a spare one piece shaft set. Are you looking for spares or do you need them before MI?

What else is on the list??

Yea Im looking for spares. But just the pass side non disco. I have spares now but they are the disco also. Just trying to make a brake easyer to fix.

First on the list is a set of long arms I am picking up from Gil. This may go on the back burner until later this summer.

I need to add some suports to the steel rockers I put in.

And the list goes on and on......

Thanks John.

I fully concur.

If it's too packed we might just stick to the regular park that day and plan another weekend.

there is more to do on this property than just the original "MI" trail...

nothing comparable to that trail but there is some other fun stuff.

i'm not sure what the original MI trail was but i'd say yes, there is more to do than big rocks and extreme obstacles. i went with IntrepidXJ a few weeks ago. i think the really extreme stuff was only 10% of the time we spent there. if you wanted to there was enough of it to spend all day but we pressed on. the rest of the property was really fun but i'm not sure its worth the $$ over the park. the one nice thing that i enjoyed was having the property all to your group. you werent waiting on other groups like can happen at the Badlands some times. you could take things at you own pace.

Well price isn't an issue for the yellowishgreen pass holders.

I talked to Troy he said it really won't be a problem for 10 rigs because not everyone will want to try the hardest stuff and the group can split up pretty easily, he doesn't have a problem with that. He said he will arrange for a second trail guy though.

I've never run IM, what's the low down? Are dogs allowed? I'm going to have a full rig so can they walk along or are thier long stretches of driving trail or are all the obsticles close together? How about parking and trailers? Is it closer to the park of Summers? I'm just full of questions tonight:laugh3:

I can't wait!!
