I would like to get an idea of what's the best day of the week for people to do a meet-n-greet? It seems that Remi has volunteered me to coordinate the OC MNG.

Typically, what would be the best day of the week for you for a MNG?

Huh?

OC? As in a single Oc. Not to be confused with more than one Oc, I belive the correct spelling would be Ox. Not to be confused with Oc's, or as belonging to an Oc. Alright, now that that makes perfect sense, allow me to point out a couple of things you may wish to consider in deciding which day is best suited for MNG an Oc.
Sun. is most likely your best bet to get a clear image. Just watch out for glare. Ox are will turn thier tails into the wind during a storm, so it seems quite obvious that Wed. is out of the question. Not an image that most of us would find acceptable. Though they are not easily spooked, they are a bit skittish around hot oil. That knocks Fri. out of the running for successfully imaging(sp) an Oc.
Although I most likely will not be able to attend, nor fully understand the interest with MNG an OC. I hope you have the best of luck. BTW, will you be posting the Oc's image on this thread? :photo: ?

Tim, I believe Ocs is the singular variety, Ocsen is plural. You may have to put this on a tech board if you want to inquire about the yoke of an Ocs. By the way, there is no such thing as a giant blue Ocs. :greensmok

I say we have a SoCal MNG. I am in lancaster and its going to be a drive for me no matter what, but to the OC it a little over 106 miles. How about some where in Santa Monica area or an area just north of Norco or just south of Ontario? Or maybe a MNG/BBQ/Run?

Great Idea:) Do I see a volunter?? :D All it takes is for someone to make arrangements and set it up like Karstic did with the OC one :D I think in general it'd be nice to have a SoCal one every so often, but each area should also look into having a more of a local one more often :D

Yeah, I couldn't believe you guys drove all the way to Santa Ana last Tuesday...for a $10 burger.

Got to do what you got to do!

Maybe we can do a BBQ at Hungry Valley OHV park and mess around at the traing grounds and then BBQ @ one of the camps.

Cool Shanbo when are you going to set it up? That's actually a pretty good idea. That way you don't have to commit a whole wekend.

Remi had it right, just something for my local area. If you can make it great, if not, no harm no foul. Heck if there's enough interest set something up for the guys(gals) in your area. I'm not looking for something to cover the whole SoCal area. That would be impossible. There's no way to cover San Diego to the Inland Empire to Venture to the Antelope Valley.

:D My excuse is that if we hold it in OC, the SD guys have as far to go as the Valley folks or Inland are folks (more or less) so we're not discrimnating against anyone :D

Anyways Karstic, when's the next  ?? I gotta plan it on my calendar :D

I will be in Woodland Hills and Santa Clarita for a few weeks. I want to hit some trails while i'm out here, like Hungry Valley OHV, Alamo Mtn Loop and Pronghorn Trail which features a easy, moderate and difficult 4WD practice area. So maybe we can meet up sometime during the weekends. Call my cell so we can set something up, 760-586-8129

I will post a poll with three possible days and then set it up.
