I mean I have a 29" spare, but I'm guessing to them "full size" means same size as the tires you're running?

You just need a spare you can drive with. I use a 34" spare for my 36" tires, and have driven on a 31" spare with 34's. Of course due to the size difference, the type of differentials you have will help determine if you should do this. -Jim C

So more or less they just dont want you to roll up there with a donut for a spare. Just something thats actually a tire. So 30" should be ok if your running 31" tires?

If thats the case then I've got ya covered...So dont go buying one just yet

yea I have the stock spare, which I think is a 28". but im only running 30s so I fig its close enough. I think for the most part they mean no donuts or tires that in comparison are donuts.

I have 2 33" BFG Mud Terrains NOT ON RIMS that anyone can have if your looking for a 33" spare. They are not in the greatest shape and are full of water in my back yard right now, but for a FREE spare, they will work well once mounted up. Let me know if I should throw them on the trailer for the ride up.

The whole full-sized spare thing is more a guideline than a rule. As long as you have a way to get out of the woods (even if it means you borrowed your buddies spare), that is all RC is worried about.
