SF Muni is taking applications for 7249 shop foreman. There is currently one vacancy but the rest of the foreman are within reach of retirement.

7382 Assistant Foreman and 7381 Automotive Mechanics applications wll be announced within the next two months. There are two assistant foreman vacancies and two scheduled for retirement by the end of summer. There are currently 10-15 mechanics vacancies (depending on which budget fantasy you believe).

7410 Automotive Service Workers these are the shop persons that move the buses, fuel and service the fleet all night long, work in the preventative maintenance dept changing oil & filters and operate the steam cleaning equipment. This announcement will be released ~Aug or Sept and there are 15 current vacancies.
and finally the car cleaners, the folks who remove grafitti and wash the buses. Also 12-15 vacancies there and the announcement for this entry level position will be in September.
