Maximum Tire size with 2" Budget Boost

I've put on a simple Teraflex budget boost with just simple shackle and spacers. I'm tossing on a RC Adjustable Track bar and going for their Hydro 8000 series for shocks. With all these nice things going into my Daily Driver/Weekend Warrior jeep also accounting that I'm tossing on 342 series Cragar D window rims with 4 1/2" backspacing, that's the largest tire (including width) that I can toss on without rubbing? and or minor trimming?:helpme:

I'd have to say 31x10.50, it might even have to be skinnier. The 2" will get you out of trouble DDing, but the fact that the wheel opening is so small is still going to get you when you begin to flex even a bit, like say exactly 2" of uptravel lol. So yea, you won't have to chop off your fenders, but you'll probably have to do a bit of clearancing, and maybe modify your bumpstops to limit that uptravel. Also, considering most tires that are "31x10.50" from what I understand are really more like 30x10ish, I don't think you'd run into much trouble anyway. That's assuming your D window with 4.5" BS is 8" wide, not 10" wide... I think you'd be pretty into the fender if it is 10".

I run 31s on my 2-3" lifted Jeep. It stays on the road 90% of the time and does fine. As long as the sway bar stays on it doesn't rub. Once it comes off it rubs horribly.

I got 15x7 inch D windows so yeah I went smaller than the 8 inch for some reason. The bump stops are the little pieces of rubber coming out of the middle of my coil springs correct? if so those are no longer there and its just all metal

I have a Jeep in my yard with no lift on it and 33's. Granted, it has almost zero up-travel but it moves.

Anything is possible if you remove enough sheet metal. :)

Nice^^

30's.. maybe 31's, definitely bumpstop. Problem with less backspacing is that there is a better possibility of hitting the fenders. If you run 31's I would recommend stock wheels and WJ lower CA's

Box more like 30x9.50. Box do you want to trim at all? You can fit 31's no problem with minor if any trimming

2" lift with very minor fender trimming

That jeep has an excellent look actually, however, I still have my fender flares. I'm down to do some minor trimming. I don't want it to be noticeable, or at least obvious. Those tires don't look very big, they actually look stock
