mapsource metroguide worth it??

I was wondering if the CD was worth getting? I have the e-trex vista GPS, no laptop yet. Any suggestions?

It seems to be your typical street type navigational software. When making a decision, it's mostly personal preference. What I have is DeLorme's Topo USA. It not only provides me with street type of nagation, but also provides me with off road trail info. I use it with my GPS and Laptop to go exploring off road. No way of getting lost offroad!

Check out the Delorme site and look up Topo USA. There's an on line demo which will show you it capabilities. A new 5.0 (?) version has recently been released as well...
