I was thinking Gold Mountain but by the list we currently have it would seem that every rig coming could run John Bull and that would definately be my prefered choice. If there is someone out there that DOES NOT want to run John Bull then please chime in. I absolutely do not want to leave someone out simply because they feel their rig will not make it. Even if your rig can't make the run it doesn't mean you can't go with us. It would probably be a great thing to hop in one of our Jeeps and do a run that is beyond the abilities of your Jeep. This would allow you to find out if this is something you enjoy and also allow you to see what mods you may want to run in the future. This approach is how I have my rig set up today. I went out with other guys in their Jeeps to see what I liked and then went out and found a Jeep that could do that with a little more tweeking and mods. Thanks for the Jeep Skullver.

So as of right now, lets plan on John Bull and if we need to switch back to Gold mtn. then we will do that if the need arrises. We will meet at my place at 8:00 am and be on the road no later then 8:15. For those of you coming from other areas and can get to Big Bear taking a quicker route other than 38 then ALL of us will then meet at the discovery center around 9:00 am. Even if your not in a Jeep, you can still meet at the discovery center, if coming to my house is too far out of your way. You can then hop into one of our Jeeps.

We got about 4" of snow over the last two days, but almost 2" has already melted. My guess is that most of it will be gone by late tomorrow. You will DEFINATELY not need chains by next Saturday. You don't even need chains right now.

To all of you that are coming, let me know where you plan to meet us on Saturday morning. I need to know if you plan to meet at my place at 8:00 am or at the discovery center at 9:00 am, because I don't want to accidentally leave you if you are running a little late. You can simply post up on this thread or shoot me a PM.
 
Im in for JB. that trail is fun! ill meet you guys at the discovery center at 9am.

Ill be leaving L.A at 6:30 but no later than 7. gassed up and ready to rock!

Got em. This is poor timing for me. Life got in the way. My father-in-law passed away last Tuesday night, right before Thanksgiving. His memorial service is Friday at 2:00. I still want to be there Saturday, as long as my wife is not a wreck. I could use a nice day away from this mess if you know what I mean. I just have to play it by ear right now.

I am sorry to here about your Father-In-Law. My wife and I will put your family in our prayers. It would be great if you could join us but don't worry about it if you can't. I'm sure everyone will fully understand. Your wife has to come first.
 
Hey guys i might be able to come up! I was looking at doing the big bear area anyways. What trails you plan on doing? I dont know if im ready for john bull, Never done it... and from what i hear it could be a ^%$& :)
 
condolences justin - take care of family first. but by all means join up to wheel if u can, always helps to get your mind off the bs.
