I'm not mad about it, I just find it funny. But hey, the last 3 were in South Springs so at least this is a wee bit closer to those of us up North.

I want to nominate myself for Northern CO director. I promise to represent myself, Tom, Putzer, JJacobs, and PSullivan to the fullest extent possible. .!.. :D ..!.
 
Sorry guys. I tried. Can't get any follow through from Medved. Internet sales guy wants us but the gal in charge of events apparently can't find the time to call me. End of the month busy is the B.S. excuse I keep getting. :rolleyes:

Unless we hear from a larger contingent of folks in and/or north of the metro area...... Just as well stick with the 'Springs die hards and meet at JJ's coffee place.......

I got nuthin' left...... Been sick for 3 friggin' weeks with a head/chest cold..... Battling through a house inspection and re-finance...... Car shopping with the wife.... I'm spent. Why is it so gawdamn difficult to find a place to meet? :looney:
 
Because car shopping for her is like pulling teeth out through your rectum.
 
LOL..... Car shopping with my wife isn't a bad thing. We've just been taking alot of time and doing the research.

We're actually pitting a car broker against a car dealership and we're getting really good results of one trying to beat the other on final price and finance rate..... we're kinda sitting back and watching to see which one will hang the longest, then send them our business.

It's gonna be a WK2........ we're still undecided if it'll have the 5.7 or the 6.4 drivetrain.... She REALLY wants the 6.4...... :looney:

Not surprising..... but no. They do in Europe.

That 3.6L has no business being used in the new Grands....... anemic garbage. :thumbdn:

The 5.7 isn't bad...... the transmission in the Grand kills the brilliant early arriving and long lasting torque designed into that engine...... but I suppose they weren't really looking for spirited performance in the "luxury" versions and left that to the SRT8.......... which BTW they did VERY well....... :D

If we don't end up dropping the coin for the SRT8, the Overland will end up with performance exhaust and air intake improvements to combat the power robbed by silly shift points.

WK2 diesel is coming out next year I believe, I feel it would be worth the wait. Jeep announced that the Grand will be getting the diesel again here in the US and that following it there will be more diesel options. I swear to baby jesus, if they offer a 4dr JK Rubicon with a turbo diesel, I'm buying it. That would be the ultimate setup for me.

I was told by current bod we had to wait for all bod to chime in and give the ok. i tried posting ideas and motivating setting it up. but it's apparently up to bod, which no one has confirmed nor denied. and it's middle of week already. anyone gonna show? if no bod shows who raffles the S.O.R. steering? who collects the money??
 
Hmmmm. Ok, yeah, this did get a bit confusing now with 2 threads for different locations..... at least where the raffle part is concerned.


Tom, you're confusing the crap outta me here...... you announce the need for a M&G with raffle and the thread was still in the works...... then you open another thread.

Where's the raffle gonna be?
 
I was still under the assumption this was going on. I only mentioned this one falling through in the other thread as a means of talking smack.
