LUVMYJP Plate Tour 2006

Next time I get interviewed for 30 seconds I'll be sure to not have them film anything with having editing ability. They cut out all the URLs, personal names and websites I mentioned.

I assume they visited some of those sites to get the pictures. As I said on Facebook, the interview happened in the afternoon and aired at 7pm the same day. They left here with your phone number Jeff.

Heck dude you've been an admin on the facebook fan page since the page was started. Spout off at the news all you want.

Dude, you sound like you're taking my comments seriously.....I know how the press rolls. Great exposure, I'm not offended....really!

Same here!

And Kejtar and myself didn't get any credit either! :D Just kidding, that doesn't matter so much.

"I used my wench, something that is a no-no for Jeeping purists," said Paulsen.

I wenched a lot more when I was younger. I don't mean to brag, but I could wench all night long back then.

Ok, guess it's my turn...

Hard to believe the plate's been traveling for 5 years since I took this pic...

The wife and I wanted to go somewhere different for our 20th anniversary, and heard that Costa Rica was pretty nice. I knew it would be a nice trip when I saw this artwork outside the restaurant in the first hotel we stayed at...

If you're interested, she's available

$18,000

Our tour the first full day

Note the carving on the fence rail...

After visiting the volcano, we had lunch at a nice mountainside restaurant, after watching a depiction of pre-Columbian traditional dance. Not sure if it was historically accurate, but I didn't really care.

Here are a few pics without the plate

Saw very few XJs down there, not too many US vehicles overall

Fruit stands were everywhere, if we hadn't been on the all-inclusive tour, I'm sure we would have stopped at most of them. We did get fresh fruit with almost all meals.

This guy had a nice tow rig. There were lots of nice Land Cruisers, even saw one set up as a tow truck, towing a taxi.

Another XJ

Our tour bus

Saw a Pre-Columbian gold exhibit in San Jose

NICE! Didnt know it had a fan page.. I need to look for it!

Yea I do too, Im kind of a nerd when it comes to that kind of stuff...

Sorry reopen this with bad news. While this is not the original plate...it has a new home. The state of Colorado issued me a few set a few years ago. Up until a few weeks ago they were on my JK. Well I sold my JK, and since I am planning on getting an MJ, someday. I wanted to keep the plate active so I put it on my current DD. Sorry for the bad news.
