The proportion and gauge doesn't look right and it's too flat on the bottom edge... not to mention those living room pics were posted approximately 12 hours after the last ones in Australia.

PS: Thus far, this is the best NAXJA thread I've encountered IMHO.

Are you implying that, based on your professional opinion, that we are all being duped by one Okie from Muskogee?
As much as I would like to...not sure I can pick up what you're puttin down........and the pics posted from Oz were taken before Christmas......not like this stuff shows up real time, you know. And it only took 5 days to make it from Utah to Oz last month, so the timeframe arguement is mute.............can't wait to see Terry again.......:twak:

Re: LUVMYJP Plate Tour 2004

Guys, I'm new to this forum but might be able to shed some light onto your predicament. Couple of days ago i sent Marcus Ohms a mail to enquire about some tech stuff on my XJ 2.5TDas they run the RHD version in Aus as well, he replied 2 days ago with some info and amongst other thing asked, and I quote "While I have you though, would you be at all interested in taking part in a Jeep number plate world tour? It would be great to have it sent to you in a few months time if that's alright. Just look at this forum to know what going on. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=36995&page=1&pp=15
Basically XJEEPER took the plate from one of the guys on a forum run and has been seeding the plate around the world. I have just taken it into the Outback and now gave it to my Father in-law who has it China this week. I will send it on to a few others I know from there.
Just let me know could you"

now I was wondering,... if it's in China this week, how could that malicious person claim on cutting it in half??? Once GoJeep sends it to me I will gladly show it around subequatorial Africa, and I don't carry tin snips.
So in my most polite and humble tone of voice let me address Okie Terry and just say "BUSTED!!!!"

Yup... Nothing like ruining a surprise is there...

BTW... in my most polite and humble tone of voice let me address XJinAfrica and just say "You sir, are a knucklehead.... May the fleas of a thousand wildebeast infest your undergarments!"

p.s. There's no malice involved with this plate, It's all in good fun... Including "alleged" incidents of torture :D

Re: LUVMYJP Plate Tour 2004

For you sir, I have respect, at least you had the guts to call me an ASS in public. Not like some other Tareoke or something like that.
I apologise if i ruined your fun but the mail I received did not include the obviously required fine print!

Hey genius, ever think to contact one of them about it? The only two people you even knew the names of both knew. Think before you speak next time.

I know you thought it was real enough (for awhile)that you had to ask Jeff. I'm sure you weren't the only one who wondered if it was real. We had other plans to make it seem even more real before we were done.

Ya gotta admit, though, it was a good one.
