Hmm, I'm not aware of any SEC members that are anywhere near you so I doubt you'll have much luck. Now, if you feel like going on a 4 hour drive I'm sure someone would be able to help you out.

Yea there was one guy down there had an awesome xj. Came to the crawl a few years in a row back in Tellico days. Was an ER doctor iirc. Had some hilarious stories. Don't remember his nick or name though. Been a few years. Last time I talked to him he was building or looking into an electric powered xj.
I dont think there is anyone on near you like mentioned, but i have met a few people from the PCB Jeep club before and some of them would probably help you. Look up their group on FB. Offer some beer and pizza and i bet you would get a bite if someone isnt busy. That club isnt anything to write home about, BTW.
I 2nd (or 3rd, 4th) about the install. It's not bad at all. Tedious but if you follow the directions and watch stuff on you tube etc...you can do it in reasonable afternoon.
