Lower Door Protection (Group Buy?)

I'm in. Whos taking charge of this and when do ya need the $$ and last thing what kind of a wait time are we looking at.

These should work fine for 2dr models also. Keep in mind that you should be receiving two large plates for your money (1 for 1 side, 1 for the other). You will have to cut them to fit each door so it doesn't matter if it is a 2dr or 4dr. You just cut them appropriately.

Turn around should be a few weeks. It will take you guys MUCH longer to sort out how many sets you need and get your money to the right person than it will to get the steel bent.

PS Matt the only set that will be screwed up is yours.
and that happens after he intentionally "stress tests" them by sliding into a rock @ ~35mph

I can attest to the sturdiness of these.
I've bashed mine up a few times already, and they held up great.

Thanks Michael!

John

P.S.
I think Casper is pretty interested in them, or at least he was at one time.

Ill be in for a set as well as long as they are under $100

I am also interested. I have the PMW ones and can attest to the poor fitment compaired to Michael's

Is the rig a tottal loss. It looks like it was ok. Nothing a BFH wouldn't take out. That way next time that happens it's no big deal.:spin1:

Any chance i could get a scrap piece for use as a template to use in getting a set (or more) made out East here?

What I did to make the first template is to open the front door and hold a piece of paper (preferably card stock) up to the end of the door and just mark the outside edge of the door. It worked great for me. The bends are 1 1/8" from the top and 1 1/4" from the bottom.
