Just a bit over $300. They didn't have any DOM so I ended up with regular crap. Since this an interior cage, and I will probably be cutting it all out when I turn it into a buggy (:D) I wasn't too worried.
I got a price break thru the high school shop class.

To be replaced by this.

Kinda' like that.
Although the new sliders won't protect the doors at all, its my hope that the doors won't be on when I would have needed the protection anyway!

To those who have been down this road before, I know I will need to protect the A and B pillars. I'll show you my plan soon!

Just got back into the house from a day in the garage.
I wish I had the camera....
A lot of the cage is done. I had some trouble working by myself. Holding the tube staight, adjusting the dyes, etc. etc. got to be a pain. I still can't believe I just bit the bullet and kept at it.
I'm getting too old for this sh*t!
But damn, I LOVE IT!!

I'll post some picts tomarrow.

Time for Fat Tire...

I'm still searching for the perfect storage area set up. The other way (drivers side) doesn't allow for any shock mounting. This way may allow a better way of getting there. It will also allow for some forward triangulation...
We'll see.....

Will your triangleation at your B pilar clear your headrests? I had to bend mine towards the rear to clear mine, how are you attaching to the floor? Looks like you are maintaing a good schedule.

If you had a broadside picture you can tell the B pillar sits back like it would on a two door cage. Should have plenty of room.
