I have now seen the biggest booger weld ever on your base plate. What kind of rod are you using, the slag looks kinda white.

Wow, no way in heck that's a weld right?? It's some kind of sound deadener for some reason??? If that is a weld, I must ask the question: what in THE world happened?

Its the new 'Spray on Weld' by Ronco!

Not a weld....just thought I could use some foam to fill in the gaps around the cage supports. When I get back from vacation I'll cut it all out and glue down something rubber to seal it up and not hold any water....as though I have seen any friggin' water in the last year!

Ah! Good idea . Well the rig looks sweet man, your hard work is paying off i believe. Some very nice ideas on it, this is a good thread for folks to watch who are thinking of similar mods.

ive seen people use cut up ATV innertubes to seal around rear longtravel shocks maybe you can do something like that :dunno:
