Nice! I like the lighter shade of blue!
 
It would work with the red letters used in the prior dark blue version.
 
I like them all. I am so impressed with how well they look with the four states combined as a background.
My only suggestion would be to have the Jeep a completely different color that would set it apart from the surrounding black. Maybe yellow or orange would work. Since this is an XJ/MJ association the Jeep should be a major focus of the logo IMHO.
 
taking in both suggestions... not sure about the colored jeep... i think most will agree it just doesn't look as good as black... good point about the major focus though... i'll keep that in mind...

been tinkering with the colors a bit... seems like something that represents the "Red River Chapter" would be the right way to go so here's what i've come up with... red river colors...

the text is a bit more red/orange that came through here... states are more burnt orange... added a stroke to help text pop out... should work on any color t-shirts we choose... this works out to a 4 color design... hope everyone likes the changes...

Oh, I like that! Nice and muddy! I suppose it would cost too much, but getting a "muddy" texture to the states would look great.
 
Me likey. Me want T-shirts very soon. Lets do what we need to so we can get going on this thing.
I want a gray and a black T-shirt in XL for a total of two(2) shirts. Whose gonna handle this...........Oh I forgot we have a Treasurer/Recorder...........Hey Kendrik record my order and tell me where to send the paypal money. PM me.

i'll check with the place we just did a commercial for a few weeks ago... maybe he'll give the logo a look over to make sure it won't need any adjustments by a printer since they tend to charge for that sorta thing... and then get a quote to pass along to our treasurer...

i've been working on that muddy/grungy texture but it always tends to distort the states to the point of not recognizing them... i'll keep at that one for next time...
 
Looks good, matches the "red" river nicely.

So when do you think we can get a quote on these being printed and do we have to send the money in first so that we have a treasury to draw upon?

Unless National makes a startup donation, we'll need to get some dollars in from everyone before we start putting together the logo stuff. Chances are we'll ask for donations up front to help cover some of the intial costs to get the printing setup, but we haven't discussed that, yet. As soon as we get the BOD and bylaws submitted and become "official" we'll get more details for you guys on the logo.

I REALLY like this one. It'll work on any shirt, and the colors pop without being blinding.
 
Looks good guys,how many shirts are you thinking of making on the first run?
My company just bought several thousand dollars in shirts, I may be able to get a good deal from our t-shirt person. They made nice hoodies for us too.

appreciate that offer, i'm sure the BOD will keep that in mind as we move foward with the tshirts...

another note... after talking with the screen printer guy, i need to enlarge my logo file quite a bit and up the DPI (thought it was, my bad there)... this has me redoing the whole image which has been easy enough until i got to the jeep... i'm having to rework a different jeep image which i hope will work...

i'll update everyone with a new logo as soon as possible... it'll be 95% the same, just have to change the jeep...
