Passed ya, someplace, a few times.
xjmudslut said:well i just bought this jeep a few weeks ago. it was once a forest service vehicle. and it has been sitting for a while but i got her and spent a few days to get her road/trail worthy and i love it. this thing does very well all locked up, cant wait to take her out next weekend if i get the axle and ball joints fixed by then. i actually got 3 quarts of the forest service green with her so i can get rid of the dp 40 dark green primer. the white a woodgrain waggy was my old wheeling rig but my boss talked me into selling it to him, and he has beat the hell out of her but she keeps on going.
xjmudslut said:right on, i got a pretty good deal on it. who ever put it together didn't own wrenches. i pretty much tore te whole thing apart and put it back together in two days. it started making noises when i would press in the clutch, i pulled the tranny and every bolt was lose. the t-case was barely hanging on the bell housing was about an inch from the block all the front end nut's and bolts were finger tight. atleast i found out before i hurt something on her bad.
xjmudslut said:my computer won't let me view them pics. can someone post them here please!!! i'm really excited to see them. also ecksjay, do you know if the motor is built? it really rips i can lay rubber for a block sideways....lol. seems like the powerband is very higfh in the rpm's for a stock 4.0 it really kicks in at 3500-6000. believe it or not

It still have that loooong TJ shifter in it?That was his pleasant surprise when he replaced the tranny. It is an AX-15 in there and not the Peugeot, BTW. The rear leaf springs are about 2yrs old, RE 4.5". The rockers hold air and it should still have on-board air (never had AC, so he put an AC compressor in the proper position for OBA). He did a LOT of work to get those rockers in...modifying the doors, even.
