Well, SteveStiller, what I said was, "We'll do what we can to make sure he doesn't show back up here.", which we have.
Fact of the matter is, you take your chances anytime you buy over the internet.
NAXJA isn't responsible for anyone's losses to anyone.
We simply provide a medium for people to buy and sell goods.
When we find crooked buyers or sellers, we take all measure we can to prevent bad transactions from happening again.
DEAL WITH IT!

I'm lost by this post, maybe it's too early in the morning, not enough coffee!:speepin: Who is HM? I quit reading this post after about page 10 except for bits and pieces here and there.

Why is Okie being blamed for anything here? This info has been going around the forum for over a month now. There is also another thread regarding JR..... that has been here for a while (same person, different name)! It is alway Caveat emptor, especially on the Internet! :lecture:
 
not blaming okie, but found the stuff for sale end of january. also nobody put neg feedback on him. been busy but will try tomorrow to contact local uspo. he also emailed me and said stuff was on the way.
 
what the skid from carolina rock shop....Im sure he told everyone that....his wife told me she'd send the money back by check...still waiting on that....what email address?
 
I was waiting on jks discos. Email he used was [email protected] He used the name Anthony Argelio.
On a side note I got in touch with Mark from applehill4x4 and he gave me a ton of numbers including Gerards. He was very helpful with everything so give him a yell if you have any questions.

Also, contact the Postmaster-General's office for Selkirk / Albany, NY if he doesn't make good on the refunds. I know I keep saying this, but so far nobody has posted here saying that they've done this; the PMG is the one person who can get an effective resolution to any issues people may be having - not the local PD or Sheriff's office, not Gerard's wife, not some guy he once had an embarrassing yet enlightening experience with in a bus station restroom. Not to pick on anyone here, but if you don't go after this guy in the way you have to you'll pretty much never have any hope of seeing a resolution.

If you've ever been wenzeled by Gerard Cartaino, please pm your full name and a phone number you can be contacted at. The Bethlehem PD has opened an Investigation with the attorney general of NY. They need to see how deep this really goes and how many people have been screwed out of money, especially the dollar amount. If you've been wenzeled and are not comfortable with me passing along your Info to the Investigating Srgnt. then please pm me and I'll give you his phone number and name to contact. But please If you have paid him money and not recieved a thing, the AG and PD want your story. It builds a better case for criminal prosecution of larceny. Plus It will make things a whole lot easier when I contact the Post Master General with the Info of the case. Thanks, Josh

Hopefully, that guy will get his comeupance.
Unfortunately, the Wenzels and BigGs will always be there, but if folks will stand up to thier dirty practices, perhaps some will think twice about committing internet and phone fraud.
At least on NAXJA and Pirate, anyway.
 
yea the AG is Interested but the big problem may be, from what I understand:

Jurisdiction.....The Jurisdiction is where the crime takes place, because the crime took place on this forum, It's technically the Jurisdiction of wherever NAXJA's server is located. I dont know this location, but the PD told me It could be some bumble town with a few police, this would cause a problem with work load and would pry make the AG not Interested because of this...their still Investigating that
 
The juristiction is centered within the postal service
Mail fraud is taken much more seriously than is lying over the internet.
If a postal inspector were to show up at his door, he would be much more fawked than he would be if a PD detective did.
 
Well I got two stinkin, PM's come on people, I know more then 3 people total go ripped by this Jerk...This is the time to say something If you have because If not he's geting away with murder and can continue to do It as long as no one takes action. I dont care If your baby's momma's, uncles, sister's, roomates, cousin was ripped off by this Jerk, let them know whats going on and tell them to contact me, every person helps. Thanks
 
Well, after a couple weeks of working and conversating with Gerards wife about the situation, she agreed to paypal me my money back, I Just recieved the money and Its being transfered to my bank account now. Im a man of my word. I told her I would stop pursuing any criminal action If she returned my money so this is where the line ends for me. I got what I wanted back out of the deal and I learned a valuable lesson. It's all on ya'll from here, Good luck geting your Justice. While Gerard in my eyes is still an asshole. I must say is wife is pretty generous and kind in working with me and putting up with that kind of husband. I almost feel bad for her....:heart:
