I am sorry. He kept asking me if I had gotten the money yet and I NEVER saw it. They always e-mail me when I get money in my account. I just looked at my account at paypal and it was just posted. It didn't post until after he left. He is away until Wednesday and he is for real. He does have the items for you and I am extremly sorry for the mix-up. He is not very good with computers and gets stressed when things don't show up right away. I do see the money now, however there is a hold on the money. You can either cancel it, or let it go through. That is your choice and once again I am sorry for the mix-up!!!!!

That woman is a saint for putting up with him. But, I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of the transaction since he talked to you that way. It only encourages the behavior.

I dunno man. With all that has happened, it'd probably just be better to get your money back. If you could actually get the wife to ship the stuff then maybe it could work out. This guy just sounds like he's off his rocker. I hope it works out one way or another for you.

Cancel it (the payment), do not drop the dispute. If you drop it, you will have absolutely no chance to get it back. PayPal will only allow the one dispute per transaction.

If ya still feel a need to buy from this person, do it as a completely new transaction.

I havnt dropped it, i told her very politely that it would be better if i could keep the claim on until the brackets are confirmed shipped and i receive them, then i will raise the claim and the money can be theirs. does this sound like a legit idea to you gentlemen

Sorta, but requires them (he/roids) to trust you. The deal sounds shifty. IMHO, get your money back and move on to a properly motivated seller.

I went throught the same issue when I originally dealt with this nut, i.e. need and price. However, it was worth it to me to ultimately purchase from a -supporting vendor to ensure that I was getting what I paid for.

Besides, do you know if these are the RE ones or the Trailmaster ones? IIRC, Big-G was running a TM lift on his XJ, and somewhere he stated these brackets were just like the ones he had.
