wow! all i have to say is i will never do that again. anything and everything that could go wrong... went wrong. i bought a 3in Rough Country lift. 1st mistake... i bought it used. coils spring up front were a sinch. we had that back together in 2 hours. but the rear sucked! we had to go buy new center bolts from the local spring shop but... 2nd mistake... we didnt check the bolts on the leafs to see how wide they were. so we get back to the shop and tear the rear apart. we went to go put the bolt in and it was too wide! so we decided to pull the leaf pack out and drill it out...3rd mistake... came out pretty easy. so we put it up on the drill press to drill a bigger hole in it. broke 3 bits. said F$%* it and went to auto zone. we bought a 3in block kit and went back and put that on in 10 mins. then we put the new shocks on the rear...4th problem... one of the shocks is longer than the other... so we put those on and put the rear back together. then we took her out for a test ride. we found a nice lil place to flex her out and see what she could do. i flexed out on the rocks and put it in park...5th mistake... i opened my door... or atleast tried to. the mug would open. i thought i had broken a door hinge so we took her back to the shop and called it quits for thenight(130 am) next mornign we look and see that the drivers side front fender was dented in and stopping the door. so we used a pry bar and pulled it back out. i've driven her all day and shes done great. a lil ruff on the highway cause it needs an alignment but other than all of the above its good. will post pics tomorrow. and later ill get pics from Summer town on new years.

sorry for the long post.

ummm we all said that more then once LOL. Btw, I busted my finger, actually crushed to the point of having to have the nail removed 3 months later by a doctor cause it was growing in weird direction, and of course I said never again, but guess what... I already had it appart more then once since then. It's kind of like a right of passage.

Blocks.... bad idea... in a long run you'll have more headaches then you want to deal with from blocks on stock leaf pack.

Kind of curious, does it look like you hit it or is it the same problem I had: I flexed mine so well and turned so well that I grabed the fender and pulled it in. My door still opened, but the fender is creased and it needs a bracket to "stand" out instead of being caved in.

Anyways... congrats.....

ya im gonna run blocks till i buy a RE 3.5 leaf pack.

the feder looked like someone leaned against it and pushed it in. i think its cause i had the sway bars connected.

Nah, I am willing to bet $$ that your tire grabbed the flare and pulled the WHOLE thing in.... and it has nothing to do with swaybar... actually you'd probably have it worse if you were disconnected...

the thing is i didnt flex the tire up on that side. it was pushed down. the passenger side is what got flexed upwards. and i didnt make it that far because of the sway bars. and i knwo nothign else did it cause 5 mins previous to flexing it we stopped at the local bar to take a picture of one of the drunks and his car. he was so wasted he drove his car staight into the ditch in front of the bar. he didnt even make it outta the parking lot. so im at a loss on waht did it.

check back tomorrow after noon for pics.
