---I like the fix on #4 and definately think all the content, argument of both sides and the fact that my 1st relpy to OGG's thread here started a text book example that deserves to be a sticky!!!!!!!!

I know exactly what you mean!! Trust me you guys sorta jumped on the "stereo typed" bann wagon or something like that i guess BECAUSE, you just gotta look at it from both sides....OGG got the point...he shoulda SEARCHED...BUT....we coulda put it to him a bit better then tell him to get a spelling check & all! I think u guys scared him straight off the board and outta canada!!! He's on a plane to tokyo where they never heard of goin hoggin in my XJ cause they dont have any dam land!!

Seriously tho, between all that was said, i stand in your shoes and say, "yes your right" and "yes in know what you mean/feel", im just asking the same...remember back when you had just bought your jeep and you had never done any offroading.....THEN you hit some dirt...then ran over someones shrubberr... then a few rocks and then u broke the dam thing?? Remember when you came home that night, found a forum with lots of info and you asked...hey guys, i ran over a rock and i broke the jeep, what do u reccomend for a lift?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

(somethin like that), you might have been born with it in ur blood or its in the family but i learned it all like that...i still remember the first time i played with the idler arm on the carburetor and gained some "pedal feel" and said....ooooh, thats horsepower!! Was a 1981 FORD FAIRMONT!!! Had the worlds worst built straight 6 in it and i took great pleasure in taking that torch to it in shop class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the gun rack, ive been trying to come up with some sorta way to start fabricating my OWN version of almost everything there is that u can buy and then fab it myself for half the cost & have it twice the strength. Hell putting a bead of weld on both sides compared to one side can make or break your best trail run!! Gimme an idea for the best location in the XJ you would have it mounted?!! If i had to think for myself i may just remove my driver seat and build a nice "stow away" "quick grab" compartment for my glock! (thats city humor)! As it is right now, i have my power inverter mounted there with an extension cord and u cant see any of it untill i plug it in the cigarette lighter socket! Gonna get the biggest one i can fit under there when more $$ rolls in. Would be real great to just plug in an impact tool of any design!!! Most air compressors will take up too much room if u built it into ur XJ but they make electric ones but draw alot of power. Just have to have an inverter 2 handle it...

Oh man, im just ramblin on now. Get back at me with a location 4 ur gun rack and i'll tig somethin up for ya.

Actually, you're wrong, BigG. I lurked on here for about 6-8 months, researching and figuring out my stuff before posting once. After that I didn't post much until after attending my first event. Until I got to know people face to face. Don't expect everyone to do it that way, but when you are new, people don't accept you because you are here. Yeah, it's kinda like a frat...you have to put in your time to get noticed, unless you post stupid chit. Then everyone notices.
