Let's Go Red Sox's

No kidding, how about those SOX. Down from 3 games to none, to rally back and make the Yankees look stupid. What a night, I know I wasn't able to sleep much or work much at all this whole week ( I work Nights) because of the Sox games. If only I was able to ditch out of work early enough tonight I would have been out there by the Cask and Flagon, instead I left work really early, only 4 hours tonight. But come saterday I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else but out by Lansdowne

It was nice to see them win the ALS. I thought A-Rod was going to cry sitting there in the dugout. I hope they can take the WS.

Still a Reds fan, although Boston aint bad ;)
-Copperhead,

In the Yankees defense, they did set a MLB record. No other MLB team has lost a best of 7 series after being up 3-0.

The Soxs' PR machine needs to show some love to that poor 21 yr old Girl that died...I'm glad the Sox took it to the Yanks, but no one should have to die in the after game festivities..

yeah i just heard about the girl that died its unfortunate and the police were using to much force anyway. I know this is what you need to do so you dont get riots but they were showing it on the news people just walking and getting tossed around by the cops. The non leathal pepper ball is what supposedly killed the poor girl. Im sorry she wont get to see the sox in the world series.

I agree. I am suprised they haven't made any statements yet. Not that it was directly their fault, but it would be nice for them to come out and say something.

"Less than lethal" and "non-lethal" weapons are a pet peeve of mine. They have been touted as the next wunder police weapons, but they are just as dangerous as a firearm or club when improperly used. No new wunder tool can ever replace proper training and good judgement.

I dunno if the Redsox PR really has any obligation to say something. I think it would be nice if they did, but I mean she wasn't injured at Fenway, The redsox were not even in the same state at the time of the incident. The police should be the ones to say something. It sucks that stuff got out of control like it did, but I think that the police underestimated what the crowd turn out would be. They were saying that somewhere up to 80,000 people were out there that night and many of them probably had a bit to drink. Thats a lot of people to try to control
