Goddamn amateurs.

Open and uncork first, chill second.

Mixing Chopin with anything is a sacrilegious act. Chasing with a shot of 7-Up or a Spanish Olive is acceptable though. While at the Yacht Club bar, chasing with anything other than pickled onions will get you those "down the nose" kind of looks.

Do I have to tell you guys how to do everything?

:D

Dude, you admitted to drinking Malibu "Rum." You don't have much room to talk. ;)

I think you're confusing the captain with 5-90.

I do believe Ron informed me that I'd be keel hauled if I bought that on board.

You, sir, are mistaken.

Oh, come on. Mount Gay is better than Malibu, and look at the name it has!

The last time I had Malibu, I was in High School...and it was my girlfriends. Seriously.

EDIT: I'm sorry, that was 5-90. He's a big girl. I stand by the rest of my quote. ;)

I'll have to take your word for that. I have no idea what MG tastes like. It only comes out after everything worthy of drinking is finished off, at least where I come from. By then, all sense of taste is long gone.

In the sailing world, MG is a big sponsor, and they have these red caps they hand out at the big venues, even though most won't drink the stuff until they've reached the point noted above.

I always said, those MG venue hats are like aholes... everybody has one.

Except me. Hat I mean. :D

PS: A friendly tip for you, since you're having such difficulty drinking properly. Meyers is the thing to add orange juice to, and only then when all the Asti is gone. :D

Hey, 0900 is 0900. I'm not that hard-core.

For the record, there was no Champagne in the house. I'd much rather have had a Mimosa, but there was no Champagne, Asti or otherwise in the house.

But seriously, you actually like Malibu? I wasn't saying MG was good, but certainly better then that white-bottled swill. :D:D:D

Ahhh.

I didn't realize he's been pulling your trigger.

It's cool though, what you guys do in your time with Phil photographing is up to the three of you and the goat.

My nephew just got home and told me about it. What's the deal?

In a nutshell:
Some dumbass kid decided today (8th anniversary of Columbine, along with Hitler birthday, OKC bombing, and VT shooting week) would be a good time to fire up some sort of home-made IED. Whether he meant anything malicious or just wanted to have fun is up in the air at this time.

What is known though, is that Ponderosa HS went into super-panic, extra-lockdown mode while things got sorted out. Kid is (was) a 17-year old junior, and is now spending time at the local juvie detention facility while being charged with at least two felonies and a misdee...

I didn't have much time to ponder on that call though as we also had an exploding/flaming guy as well as a completely burned house...I did a hella lotta talking to get that cluster straightened out. Had more calls for service in today's abbreviated shift than I do in most days.

While I like a good vodka I miss a good shot or two of Linie akvavits :viking: fresh out of the freezer. Geeze, been almost 10 years now since the bottle my FIL gave me was finished....the stuff they sell here in the states is crap...
