Lebaron Hood vents installed

I've had these for about a year, but been to scared to put them in. So my dad and i installed these. It only took like 3 hours or so. Tell me what you think

I think you need to start covering your throttle body somehow. They look really good and let the heat out of the engine compartment but I have been through 3 TPS's since I put on my vents. Perhaps a big blob of silicone would protect the sensor?

what options do i have to do that? i'd like to start waterproofing the engine bay for when i get a snorkel at some point

If you can drive your jeep through a river, you wont need to worry about a little rain water.

i have had mine for awhile now and havent ever really had a problem with the tps...

i guess its hit or miss?? who knows this winter...

I also live in south Louisiana and it rains quite a bit here.

we'll see how this winter goes and if i run into problems, ill probably just go all out on the waterproofing

iv killed off like 3 TPS bc of my vents. i use some amazing goop to protect it.
