So I cam out to my truck today and theres a mosterous puddle of oil under my truck...go figure.
I look at the dipstick and its roughly 2" below the add mark. I crawl under neath my truck and abolutely everything from the bellhousing to the back of the tranny are covered in oil.
I wiped off the oil from the engine area and within minutes oil was running down the passenger side of the bellhousing, almost as if its leaking from the oil filter area.
The thing that turns the oil filter upright(whatever the hell it's called) so that it can be reached from up top, anyone ever heard of these leaking? This seems to be where mine is leaking from.
