Is it possible to run a trail on Saturday after the race, it would have to be a fairly mild trail? If so anyone up for it?

Im too much of of a dirt diva now... I haven't slept in a tent in years. My tent years are over!!!
I usually sleep in the back of the diesel. Tents work but the lakebed is not the most hospitable.
Yes you can. The trails should be loaded with people though anxious to drive after watching the race. Claw and what not should be good to go.

Not the best but far from the worst place I've ever camped, with decent gear it's perfectly comfortable.
I don't like sleeping in vehicles for more than one night, beause you have to pack and unpack and rearrange all your gear every day. I'll probably even set up an extra tent to store any extra food, gear, and tools I don't want in my jeep every day.
As far as a large
camp, maybe we could just pick a corner of the lakebed, first person out there get some GPS coordinates posted here? Could be fun since we got people coming in from several different chapters.

I was talking about Saturday the 11th and the morning of the 12 I guess too. I figured it would be packed thats why I thought maybe bull frog or claw was a good suggestion.

if it's like last year and my memory is any good, I think the race ends at 10:00 or 11:00 at night? Just saying. Personally I'm not much for night runs, I've usually had too much to drink by then.
Then again, I'll be out there for over a week. Might even take a trip to big bear on some of the off days.

Just found out I'll probably be there race day and Saturday the 11th. I'll be working, though. I'll be driving the XJ out there, but not wheeling it (it's currently my DD since my Lincoln sucked a valve a month ago). Don't feel TOO bad for me though....part of the job will be driving one of the company JK's on the JK Experience run on Saturday.

It is hard to say now. Most of the group will be split up regardless. Many of the Team Naxja guys will be sleeping in the pits anyhow while the rest will be on the edges of hammertown. The whole place will be chaos.
