Kansas Krawl - Sept 15

dumb question here..where is this run going to be at? I am assuming that it is at KS Rocks...but you know what happens when you assume!! And remember, there are no stupid questions, just stupid people! :dunce:
 
Well, the leak is fixed in a round about way.....but to add to the problem the motor started to knock like crazy and there became a very evident grinding sound coming from the bottom end. I was told it could have been a spun bearing, but I have no proof of that. So I said to hell with my trail rig and started to dismantle it and swap the parts over to my DD, which was the gold XJ I drove to KC to meet you guys. My DD is now going to be my trail rig and I am looking at buying a 99XJ that is stock as my DD. I will have a few misc parts left over from my trail rig if you know anyone looking for some cheap parts. I am also going to have the RE 4.5 out of my DD to sell as well. I am going 6.5" with the swap. I also have a set of 15x8 aluminum rims with MT 32's w/ @ 80% tread I am going to sell. I really have about 2 total lifts that I will be getting rid of to help fund my new 6.5 lift. It is doubtful that I will make it to Tuttle this run but not to say it is totally out of the question...but probably. If you see Cody tell him I am ready to off load one of these lifts to him!!
 
Damn, I'll be moved to Wichita by then, but doubt I'll have the free time to get up there... Anybody from wichita going? How long of a drive is it?

I'm excited to do some midwest wheeling. When we (the wife and I ) decided to move back, I was worried I'd have to sell the Jeep, but was happy to hear that there were a couple places within a couple hours. Anyway, I'll be in the area in a couple weeks, look forward to meeting you guys!

P.S. In case anyone was wondering where Federal way is, it's a suburb or Seattle, WA.
 
Justin (arch xj from trail krawlers) competed last year in his XJ. It is about the same size as yours. 6.5" short arm, 35" BFG Mud terrains, D30, C8.25, locked, 4.56s, beadlocks, exo cage
 
I know the feeling, but my Jeep is already broke.....you know misery loves company!!
 
I am just trying to get my front locker working right. I have 31s and 4.56s, I also would like to upgrade my trackbar and pay Blake off for those sweet 33s.
 
I'm going to try to make it. No way my Scout will be wheelable by then, so I suppose I'll have to drive the XJ. Tuttle is still a decent time in a stock rig.
