Thats one of the thule extensions.... i aint quite handy enough to build one.

Just thought I would update, my rack has been holding up great since Jan. been loading it up too. Its a little sun faded but thats it.

Same here, mine has been great. I did extend it myself so it looks and performs better. Still hasn't come flying off the roof or anything...like some people suggested it would.

I have only used mine really once or twice including the time I brought a hood home from the Junk Yard... The only concern I have is the itty bitty tack welds on the crossmembers. rust would lead to quick failure... I might spray mine once a year with rattlecan black or possibly bedliner.

my rack is holding up too. i just need new crossbars because i have been hauling my spare up there. stock ones are shot. but my rack does slide from side to side. anyone else have this problem?

I have these, they mount to the OEM tracks and have tracks for various other things you can mount. (other things are sold seperate)

^Yes, sir, just smoked them with .99 store black rattle can. 2 misting coats did the job. Light up amber.
