After we wound up the lawyer stuff on tues we headed over from Orlando to the south east coast above Miami to visit some friends. Worked on their ZJ while the wife was visiting and priced some YJ's and XJ's while I was down there. Boy the YJ/TJ's are EXPENSIVE in that area, thinking about buying two up here and hauling them south for a quick turnover.
The best part of the trip was the brand new Chrysler Sebring convertable we rented, had that top down for two whole days and it was heaven after the monsoons up here in PA. Just something about the top down, 85mph with the cruise on 95 and the florida turnpike, good tunes on the cd player and my favorite lady....
Met some nice jeepers, checked out a couple of ground up restorations of two CJ's, a 5 and an 8, that were very nicely done.
The friends we visited we looking for a new set of wheels for the husband and he's a realestate salesman so he needed something a mite classy. End result was he's now using the wifes ZJ As it is we found 3 nice XJ's, 93, 94 and a 95 in their price range, all under $3800.... and all three of them were 4wd which is a rarity down there, never seen so many 2wd jeeps in my life as down there.
