I have been wet dreaming about a 4bt again... and look what I found... Modified veh title can account for... fuel type swaps and non standard engines....

its time to start collecting parts.
the worst that could happen is it gets denied and i have a trail only 4bt...

local guy around here has an older cj with a 4bt in it. Cool idea, duno how practical it is really. I mean diesel is 'cheaper' and turbo whine is definately necessary...

its very practical

diesels are built around being torquey which is exactly what you need for a jeep, and turbo whine in a jeep is like the two greatest inventions god gave us in the last 100 years combined

I like the turbo wine and the torque, and the fact that I could make/get/keep fuel alot easier than Gasoline, in the event of a total economic collapse.

Think about it.
The diesel motor can run on...
Vegetable oil
shortening
k-1 kerosene
heating oil (yeah the kind that people heat their houses with.which in some cases is k1)
Diesel fuel of course
various forms of corn oil

granted many of them require pre-heating, and injector/air ratio configurations that would boggle my mind, but it can be done and if I can't buy Gas it would give me plenty of time to figure it out....
