Yeah, I have the HD RE track bar and bracket. I started out running drop brackets and stock control arms, just replaced them with aftermarket ones last week since the bushings in the stockers were pretty much non existent.

Re: The "JUST FOR BANDIT" thread

Haha yeah to be honest, I am so new to this whole sport, I really do not know what it will take when I get that much lift. I dont want to post and just ask, cause I am gunna get flamed to hell haha. My friend can make me brake lines i am pretty sure.

For front bumpstops you can use hockey pucks, If you look in the center of the spring perch ther eis a small indent there. If you drill that out and use a self tapper (or a bolt and nut) you can drill holes in the hockey pucks and bolt them in.

For front brake lines if your not going bigger than 4" or so, you can CAREFULLY bend the hard line and straighten it out some, then re-bolt the bracket further down.

As for the rear, rubicon express makes a good brakeline extension, its not too pricey

that sucks

are you just gonna suck it up and go out to the ez pull

Re: The "JUST FOR BANDIT" thread

i'd bet that doesnt last too long

I'm looking at ordering a foot of 3inch UHMW round. I can chop that up and put it on the lathe for rounding the edges and putting a center hole.

hockey pucks are a known solution to bump stops

but the uhmw ones your making will be slick

Re: The "JUST FOR BANDIT" thread

Bumper looks good...I may have to pull it off and have my dad take it to work with him to get it powdercoated too. I half assed spraypainted it and now it's chipping and rusting everywhere

Re: The "JUST FOR BANDIT" thread

definately would.. are you gonna have to grind all the paint off or do they just burn it off or something?

Re: The "JUST FOR BANDIT" thread

I think they sandblast stuff... I pull grimy, nasty looking parts out of the junkyards and give them to my dad and they always come back nice and shiny :D
